Time for the Fall season to crush all of Wisconsin into a lull of cold days and grey skies. But first, colorful trees, cool morning and the VSCDA Vintage Festival!
I am planning to be at this event most of the day Saturday and Sunday. The Fall vintage festival is one of my favorites and let me tell you why. The fans are great, the weather is usually great and there is so much to look at!
Vintage Race Cars on Track
The groups are generally pretty large for this vintage event at Road America. This makes for plenty of options for photographing the favorites. Other than INDYCAR at Road America, the vintage events come with the highest photo counts.
Generally, I like to get all of the cars on track and in each of the great places to photograph at Road America, too. This takes up a lot of my time on track, but as long as the weather is good, I love doing it.
Are You Coming To the Elkhart Lake Fall Vintage Festival?
If you are bringing a car to race, or one to park in the paddock to look at, let me know. I love to meet new drivers and teams and families that make the trip to Road America whenever they can to enjoy the track the best way they know how.
I plan on adding a gallery as soon as I have the images culled, so please keep an eye on my website for more info.
In The Meantime
Since we are just a few days from the actual event, I wanted to toss together a few links that are usually quite helpful to visitors. Remember to enjoy some Bratchos at the Paddock Concessions operated by St. John The Baptist.
